Enables scrolling through names, phone numbers, menus or settings. The 5-
way joystick is also used to move the cursor up and down, right and left when
writing text, using the calendar, and in some game applications. Pressing the
joystick also functions as the middle selection key, and pressing it briefly
selects the function shown on the display above the joystick.
In standby mode, the joystick functions as a shortcut. Press the joystick
• right to access the Calendar.
• left to start writing an SMS message.
• up or down to access the list of contacts.
